Figma Hayate: The Holy Trinity is Complete

The long awaited Yagami Hayate is finally here to complete the Holy Trinity of Nanoha StrikerS.

2 weeks. That’s how long I have had Hayate before I did this review no thanks to school work.

But hey, better late than never like they always say.

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha remains one of my favourite magical girl series with the best season in my opinion being the second season. Season 1 was kinda off-putting at the start with the “monster-of-the-day” routine. I enjoyed Season 3 though I’ve heard many complaints about the boring training arcs or lack of lolis or something.

Anyway, let’s get down to business.

Here’s  Hayate fresh out of the box.

One of the first things I noted was that the point of movement for the torso is located much higher than usual (under the breasts so it’s a under-boob joint?). The other thing I noted was that she was uber cute. XD

Also, Hayate’s battle-skirt (I think that’s what it’s called) is completely unattached. Which is bad news as it means potential chances of paint rubbing off. Guess you have to be more careful or take some precautionary measures. Though to be honest, I don’t see why they can’t make it attached just like Fate’s.

Hayate has quite the few accessories though. She comes with 2 versions of her book, her staff, a cap and a set of wings.

To be honest, the thing about Hayate I liked alot was her wings. White battle armour with black wings is just awesome.

And of course there’s Hayate’s cap. Interestingly, a second hair component with a protrusion was provided specifically for Hayate to wear her cap. Not a bad idea.

Naturally, the cap has many other uses as well.

After getting herself used to the surroundings, Hayate goes to inspect her troops. Nanoha and Fate greet their Commanding Officer ^^

With the formalities done, it’s time to have some fun!

Being able to do this pose makes getting all three of them worth it.

I need to get down to customizing Hayate’s stand soon.
