Cosfest VIII: A Very Happy Event In July

The largest and most well-known Singapore cosplay event of the year is here once again, at Downtown East D’Marquee.

With the official support from the Embassy of Japan, Cosfest VIII is set to offer the greatest exposure that the public can get towards the anime/cosplay/gaming (ACG) hobby as well as the local community which have existed for quite some time now. One can also get the chance to see the fantastic costumes being worn by the passionate cosplayers who have spent months and even a year to prepare for that very moment.

In addition to the above, Cosfest VIII also hosts the regional World Cosplay Summit (WCS) and the winners will get a chance to take part in the main event at Nagoya, Japan to compete against some of the world’s best cosplayers.

The event will be held on the 11th and 12th of July 2009, from 1-7pm for both days.
