Ok, so I might have told oOgA that Ask Junko! was finishing. Well, as it turns out, I’ve regained faith in my artistic abilities. Here’s what’s going down with Ask Junko! right now:

1: I realised telling a story about a nervous breakdown I had as an Ask Junko! plot arc was a bad idea.

One of the worst things a writer or even an illustrator can do is hate his own plot arc because it’s making him depressed. So what I propose to do about it is:

2: Reboot the series as a comedic take on anime and manga culture, it’s still about my fictional daughter and me, but it’s just a lot less depressing.

3: Reader Mail. Reader mail was what was supposed to drive Ask Junko! forward as a series, but since I got nothing but spam that changed. But I’m hoping to reintroduce that into Ask Junko! as a regular feature.

Anything else is up for grabs, but I’m still planning Junko’s triumphant return.
