Noby Noby Boy - Multiplayer Patch Announced

Keita Takahashi has announced at the Playstation Blog  an update to the information circulating about the new Noby Noby Boy Multiplayer Patch, which will allow up to four players the chance to play Noby Noby Boy at the same time.

The goal of multiplayer mode in Noby Noby Boy from the video posted is unclear, but Takahashi himself states that if one player eats another, they combine into a larger worm while one player controls the head and the other controls the body of BOY, the titular worm character you play as in Noby Noby Boy.

Noby Noby Boy is a game downloadable from Playstation Network, which was created by Keita Takahashi more as a toy rather than a game with objective goals. You play as BOY who stretches and eats things, and you can report your length to GIRL in space in order to help GIRL (and yourself) reach new planets and levels to play in.

The game was released by Namco Bandai earlier this year, and its price on Playstation Network varies depending on local price gouging exchange rates. A port of Noby Noby Boy is also coming to the iPhone very soon.
