the horde.. despite there was actually another elevator on the opposite of the one taken in this photo, nobody seems to be aware

IT Show 2009 was over last weekend and to be honest, despite the “whatever-you-call-it-recession”, the crowd in this year’s IT show was more than ever, in fact it has the most number of people as compared to the previous conventions that I went to. Most of them, however, were on “watch” mode, which means just window shopping but there was a significant crowd that did the shopping. I was one of the them.

I didn’t really notice what was hot but it appears that the home entertainment devices were popular among the crowd..gawd, I even saw a old man single-handed bring a 32″ LCD down the escalator among the horde. Yes, I call them the horde because people are just swarming towards you towards one single direction up to the IT show.

sony cybershot t700!

This year’s IT show covered more  aspects with internet service providers taking up the level 2 ballrooms and one more on level 3. Sony took the other entire walkway of level 3 while the rest (booths) took level 4 and 6.  I bought some stuff on behalf and also some for myself.

What have you bought in the IT show 2009 ?

A combined “hooting” of the stuff that my gal and I bought - iPod touch, Sony Cybershot, WD Passport, Buffalo ext DVD writer and 2 Kingston 8GB SDHC Class 4

320GB Passport..finally some lovely portable storage

My Buffalo external dvd writer for my Acer Aspire One.

Total damage = Almost S$1000 (combined)

I walked around Orchard as well and those who frequent there, you will notice a old man near Takashimaya who always perform his incredible “hoola-hoop-dance” but with big beads around his waist or neck. I am not sure what you call that, I will let the pictures do the talking. Note: Still an amateur photographer here.  =)
