Here come Suzumiya Haruhi’s Girls!!!

Well almost all of them XD.

I finally took the plunge and got me some of the girls from SHnY. I’ll get down to Kyon and Itsuki some time soon but since they aren’t that popular (lol), there is no danger of them selling out any time soon. XD

More after the break as usual.

If memory serves me right, there is Asakura Ryouko, Ep00 ver Mikuru, the normal Tsuruya and the very first figma Nagato left in this series. I wonder if I should get Asakura? (Nice Boat)

Anyway, lets start with Yuki.

Unsurprisingly, both figma renditions of Nagato Yuki are not easy to find here, both due to age and popularity. I prefer this rendition over the first one though.

Fresh out of the box

This Yuki comes with only one face as compared to 001 which has two. Though this is hardly an issue considering that you can count the number of facial expressions Yuki has ever exhibited with your fingers alone.

Another reason I preferred this set is mainly due to the vast number of accessories that comes with it.

I have the bass. Now I just need a freaking drum set to make a K-ON! band.

Not forgetting the cape of course. I was expecting soft plastic/rubber but it turned out to be some seriously hard PVC. Kinda felt cheated but it’s fine I guess.

The cape can be split into half for interchangeability and has a hole for to insert the stand and guitar sling.

Doubtless you will have noticed by now that I am using a different watermark. As much as I’d like to plaster this blog with Konata and Lucky Star, having her in watermark was pretty much a ticking time bomb. This and the change of the interface of this blog are just a few of the changes this blog is under going as we move on to take over the wor…… I mean, as we progress. ^^;

And next up we have the SOS Brigade’s mascot, Asahina Mikuru.

Accessory-wise, she has none. I guess Mikuru sells with her facial expressions and chest. *cough cough*

So lets seem them facial expressions.

“Yaaah!!! Don’t look there!”

Riiight.

Couldn’t resist. You just HAVE to do something like this with a Mikuru figma XD

Anyway, last on the list is Maid ver. Tsuruya, which you have already seen up there.

I never did understand how Tsuruya got to become so popular. As a side character with only a short appearance in the show, she has a popular following along with her own 4koma/animation which doesn’t seem funny half the time. Nevertheless, this figma is an awesome piece of work.

Front view and fresh out of the box

It’s not just the costume, but her hair is really quite impressive. From the front, it gives a detailed windswept look and is easier to manage as compared to Konata’s long hair due to the hinge at the back of her head. Although this also means that the rear view can be rather distasteful due to the hinge.

Tsuruya also comes with quite the few accessories as well. Cups and chopsticks figma size are hard to come by.
