figma Konata Summer Version

Although a little late for this summer, Konata Izumi has arrived, in her summer seifuku. Not to disappoint Lucky Star fans, Max Factory went on to make alternate versions of the main cast. That makes 2 for Tsukasa and Miyuki. 3 for Konata and Kagami.

One of the nicer box designs around, consisting of the summer skies, and… is that a blank face you see there? We’ll get there in the next 3 pictures to follow, but first…

If you remembered the original winter seifuku versions, you can actually put them together to make a nice picture. Let’s hope we can do the same for these summer versions too.

Konata gives a thumb of approval for this alternate release.

This package seems to focus on the faces to swap to, most notably Yutaka and a blank face. The other 3 main cast will have other characters’ heads As well( Kagami’s set is pretty nice too ) . But having a nice shopping bag too is a fitting accessory too. ( Although the hand on the shopping bag strap is pretty much fixed on and it is set as a left-hand orientation only ).

And the reason why we have the blank face; to make custom faces via these stickers. There are sure a number of them to choose from. Wonder if the others will have this too.

Konata is almost the same with the previous versions. You can see that single strand of hair that stands out quite a bit.  You know it, you saw it before. Let’s take a little trip.

Usually I think most people will probably not bother putting back that hair bit.

It’s safe to bet some people would be buying 2 copies. That makes a grand total of 8 boxes. Pockets and wallets be burnt from getting these. D:
