Square Enix and SCEA Face Lawsuit due to FF13 Freezes

A lawsuit was filed on June 2 by Daniel Wolf from San Diego against Square Enix and Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) for selling copies of Final Fantasy XIII that cause  freezes to the Playstation 3 and some to the extent of bricking it.

IGN reports the lawsuit also alleges that both parties are pushing the blame to each other and none of them offered to compensate the affected PS3 owner. It is a class lawsuit that is seeking 5 million US Dollars in damages and financial relief.

Ouch for the PS3 owner and a “whoaa” to such a case, I hope those who bought the R1 copy of the game have not faced much problems.
